Trip Type
Travel Style
Overview
This route is widely regarded as the most spectacular way to experience Mount Kenya. The Chogoria approach offers breathtaking landscapes — gorges, waterfalls, and highland lakes — while the Sirimon descent provides a gentler, scenic trail through alpine meadows and montane forest. With more days for acclimatization, it increases summit success rates and allows trekkers to fully enjoy the mountain’s diverse beauty.
