Tarangire National park

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most underrated safari parks, offering a quieter, more intimate wildlife experience. Famed for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, the park transforms during the dry season when animals flock to the Tarangire River. Expect to see lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of antelopes. Birdwatchers will delight in over 500 recorded species. Its seasonal swamps and termite mounds create dramatic safari scenery. Located near Lake Manyara, Tarangire is often part of the northern safari circuit. For fewer crowds and spectacular game viewing, Tarangire is a magical East African escape.
