Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet your professional guides and transfer to Machame Gate for registration. Trek through lush rainforest to Machame Camp, observing tropical flora and birdlife. Overnight in Machame Camp.
Day 2 :
Machame Camp – Shira Plateau
Climb from the forest into the Shira Plateau. Enjoy panoramic highland views, open moorlands, and volcanic rock formations. Overnight in Shira Camp.
Day 3 :
Shira Plateau – Barranco Camp
Traverse the plateau and descend slightly into the Barranco Valley. Afternoon optional climb of Barranco Wall for adventure and stunning vistas. Overnight in Barranco Camp.
Ascend through Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp, resting and hydrating in preparation for the midnight summit push. Overnight in Barafu Camp.
Day 5 :
Summit – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp
Late-night ascent to Uhuru Peak to witness sunrise over Africa’s highest point. Descend via Mweka Route to Mweka Camp. Overnight in Mweka Camp.
Complete the descent to Mweka Gate. Transfer to hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport for onward journey. Celebrate your summit achievement and enjoy a final scenic view of Kilimanjaro.
