Overview
Lamu is totally different from Mombasa, Diani, or Malindi. It’s Kenya’s most authentic Swahili coast experience, known for its UNESCO World Heritage Old Town, dhow sailing, and a slow, romantic atmosphere. Think of it as the Zanzibar of Kenya but quieter, more preserved, and deeply cultural.
